With Waitry you can take Delivery orders from the App, your own website, Facebook and/or any device scanning a QR code or accessing a custom URL.

In this article we’ll explain how to set up your account to take orders. It takes less than 5 minutes!

Instructions

Log in to Waitry with your username and password https://app.waitry.net/

Go to the side menu -> Venues
Press the “Set up” icon
Once inside the Venue management module, select “Add Plan”
Choose “Delivery” as the service type.
Set up Name, Description, working hours and delivery costs in order to customize your service.
Once the plan is created, you’ll have the option of creating a QR code and an access PIN. You can chose the name that fits your plan best. You can also enable a STRIPE account
Done! Your venue will show Available for Delivery and you’ll be able to use the QR code and PIN you created for access it.

Our Kitchen View allows you to create and save predefined filters that can be easily used multiple times.

Our Kitchen view is a digital commander that will replace the old ones by using screens all over our kitchen/venue. These screens will display every order as a command, allowing you to take different actions: move forward to the next step of the order, mark as urgent, etc.

It also allows you to create and save predefined filters that can be used over and over in a simple way, as well as filtering by order steps, sectors of our venue, etc.

We will use the example of a drinks bar on the ground floor of a restaurant.

Most likely the bartender would want to see only the orders belonging to the ground floor that include drinks. Since you need to prepare them, you want to see the “Pending”, “Accepted” and “In Preparation” statuses.

To create the filter:

Go to the Kitchen tab
Press “Filters”
Press “New Filter”

How to add your orders to your web.

Currently there is a web mode prepared for PC / Tablet / smartphones, in addition to the native app. They integrate as follows:

Iframe or link on the web
Tab with iframe on Facebook
QR code and short Url on Facebook / Instagram / Twitter (customers don’t need to have the app installed, but it will work best if they do)

To install it, use the url https://go.waitry.net/web/PIN considering that PIN is the access point code inside of a layout. This PIN can be obtained going to the Venue Setup tab, and then clicking on each access point icon. It also shows on the homepage if you offer deliver or take away.

Assuming your PIN is 33P95, all of the following are valid:

In some cases it is necessary for a menu to be visible only during certain days and times. The most common cases are lunch menus, evening menus and alcoholic beverages.

Waitry allows you to configure the days and times when you want each of the menus of your establishment to be available.

You can configure the availability of your menus from the Products → Your menu → Edit module. To do so:

Log in to the Waitry control panel with your username and password
Go to Products
Click the Edit button (pencil) in the Menu that you want to set up.

Click on the Availability tab.

Disable the “Available every day at any time” option.

The days of the week will be displayed
Enable the days you want your menu to show available on
Enter the time frame during which you want it to be available each day, in 24-hour format.

Press Save and that’s it!

Finally, keep in mind: for changes to be applied in Waitry, you must start a new order or refresh the menu by going to “View Menu” and dragging the screen down until it begins to

The Line module was created so that your customers don’t need to actually be there to know when they can come in.

First, go to the Queue module on the side menu.

Once inside we must check the QR list of the venue. This will be the QR code that the customer will use to get on the waiting list to enter our venue.

When customers scan the QR code, they will be asked if they have company, how many people are entering the venue with them, and they will be placed on the waiting list as follows:
