How do I configure Redsys as a payment gateway?

As you know, it is very important for your business to be able to offer different payment alternatives. In today's world, electronic payment has become essential to sell and reach more customers 💸

If your business is located in Spain, you have the possibility to link your Waitry account with Redsys and give your customers the option to pay their orders with debit and credit cards. Let us tell you how to do this:

Before you start, you will have to go to the bank where you have your account and ask them that you want to work with Redsys. They will do the paperwork for you and will register you to start using this payment gateway.

They will ask you for the following requirements:
Company VAT number (it doesn't matter if you are self-employed or if you own a company).
Open account (although you can open an account when you apply for Redsys).
Public online store (where the bank can log in and visit the website).

A few days after you have requested the application, you will receive an email with the following information:

- User
- Password
- Name/trade number
- Terminal number
- Terminal Currency
- Secret encryption key

Once we have these data provided by our bank, we can configure Redsys as a payment gateway in our store. This information is essential to start using electronic payment in your store. Once you receive it, you must enter Waitry with your username and password. We will press the configuration wheel ⚙️ next to the name of our store > Select PAYMENTS. You will need to enable REDSYS and enter the trade ID, terminal number and the trade key that you received in the mail.

Once this information is loaded, click on save and you are done! When enabled, a green check mark ✅ will appear next to REDSYS, indicating that the configuration was successful.
