Lightspeed Integration

With Waitry you can connect your Waitry account with your Lightspeed POS, so that you can automate your work and take advantage of even more the advantages of digitizing the service in your restaurant.

With this integration you can:

🍽 Import your layouts and tables from Lightspeed to Waitry
🥘 Import your Lightspeed products into Waitry
🥯 Send to Lightspeed the Take Away and Delivery orders made in Waitry
👉 Send orders placed with Waitry from the table to Lightspeed

Requirements



Have the right plan at Waitry



Integration with POS systems is a premium feature in Waitry, with a very low cost and a very high return, since you will be able to automate much of your work. You can check our current monthly plans at https://waitry.net/en/pricing/ to make sure you have the right one. You can request a change of plan at any time through the internal chat of the platform or to support@waitry.net.

(Optional) Remove tables and products from Waitry



The integration must relate your Waitry products with your Lightspeed products so that orders can be sent and synced, for this they must have an internal identifier that is obtained through product syncing. If you have already created products in Waitry before syncing, they will be disconnected from Lightspeed. The same will happen with tables. We recommend you delete plans and products in Waitry before starting, or you can manually enter the external code (Lightspeed ID) of each product so that you do not lose your work.

(Optional) Request the account setup from Waitry



We can take care of everything and deliver the platform 100% synchronized and configured to use. For this we recommend you see our current prices and features included in the account setup. If you wish, you can do it 100% autonomously by following the next steps.

Step-by-step setup



Step 1:



To enable Lightspeed in Waitry, we must go to the venue configuration (We can enter from the shortcuts at startup) and then we go to Setup Local.



Step 2:



Once in this window, we must select Connect POS button at the top right.




Step 3:



Once in the integration window, we select Lightspeed, enable it and press “Connect” to authorize Waitry in Lightspeed.



IMPORTANT:



Once the integration has been done, in the case of adding products or modifications to the plans in Lightspeed, to add them to Waitry we must re-synchronize with the boxes “Synchronize structure as in your system” and “Update names and descriptions” disabled . Otherwise, all the modifications that we have made to our plans and products will be overwritten and will return to their initial state.

Similarly, new products should no longer be created in Waitry, since they will be out of sync and will not be sent to Lightspeed.

Synchronization



To synchronize Lightspeed products in Waitry go to “Products” and then press “Sync Products”:




To synchronize plans and tables, go to Venues, Settings and press “Sync Place”:




Receive Waitry Orders on Lightspeed



Once the Waitry service is enabled, all orders will automatically enter your Lightspeed POS, without the need to enter them manually.
