Single app mode on iOS
To prevent your customers from removing the Waitry app, disabling WiFi, or taking photos on ordering devices, we recommend enabling “single app mode” on iOS. There are currently two ways to do it. We will explain the “Guided Access” method below, which is the fastest and most efficient way.
Guided Access allows you to temporarily lock an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch to a single application. To leave that app, someone will have to enter an authorized PIN or provide an authorized fingerprint.
Go to the device Settings
Go to General -> Accesibility -> Guided Access
Enable the sliding control “Guided Access”
Press “Passcode setup” to set a secret PIN for guided access.
Start Waitry and quickly press the “Start” button three times in a row. The Guided Access screen will appear.
Press “Start” on the top right of the screen.
