How to enable and how the account splitting bills works
How to enable and how the account splitting works
In Waitry, your diners will be able to start splitting the bills for table service should they require it. Didn't know about this feature? Here we will explain the process:
When placing an order at the table and confirming the purchase, before selecting the payment method, we will see three options that will indicate:

- **Pay the full outstanding amount: **This section will pay the entire remaining bill or the total amount.
- Split accounts into equal parts : Here you can pay the bill in equal parts. That is, if there are two people, they can pay the order in equal portions.

- Pay a different amount : With this option, the customer can pay the amount that is most comfortable for them.
Within the order, in the Waitry panel, what has been paid and how much is left to pay will be indicated. Until the total amount of the order is paid, it will not be registered as paid.**
NOTE I: This is a functionality that will only appear in table service; it is a platform default, so it is not possible to modify its use.
NOTE II: This functionality is only possible if the customer pays with a card. If the customer pays with cash, no payment record will be issued (It must be registered manually in Waitry), nor will it be shown if the customer wants to pay with "Credits" from the Waitry virtual wallet.
