¿How do I set up accepted payment methods at the table?

Let's set up the payment methods in your dining area so you can sell using QR codes at your tables.

To do this, you must enter the configuration icon ⚙️ under the 'STORES' section or in the upper right part of your screen, select 'DINING AREA' (or 'HALL'), and click on 'EDIT' ✏️

There, in the 'PAYMENTS' tab, we will have the different options available:

We are going to explain each one to you:

MANDATORY PAYMENT: If you enable this option, it allows you to charge your customers mandatorily at the moment they place the order. In this case, it is necessary to have some electronic payment option configured. You can see our options here. If you want to charge in cash or by another means outside of Waitry, you can leave this option disabled. This way the order will be entered without payment.

ACCEPT ELECTRONIC PAYMENT: This option is automatically enabled once we select MANDATORY PAYMENT. Your customer will pay from Waitry when placing the order.

ONLY USERS WITH WALLET AND CREDIT CAN BUY: This allows only customers to whom you have previously assigned credit to make purchases. To learn more about this possibility, click here.

SERVICE CHARGE: This functionality allows you to set a fixed service fee to charge at your tables, which will be added to the customer's bill.

SUGGESTED TIP: Establish the tip amount you want to indicate in your dining area beforehand, so that it is added to your customer's bill.

MINIMUM AMOUNT: Do you want to establish a minimum consumption amount in your dining area? Put it here.
